Our goal
Veolia is one of the UK’s leading resource management companies, providing water, waste and energy services to local authorities, businesses and residents.

With 44% of the Veolia workforce over the age of 50 (compared to 32% in the UK), and with five generations in their workforce, they’ve been building an age-inclusive environment that allows people of all generations to thrive in the business.

So we wanted to celebrate their Over 50s colleagues, for all the great knowledge, background and experience that they bring. But as well as that, we wanted to focus on what it allowed them to do in the future.

Our Solution
We wanted to inspire a generation of our workforce to lead the way and show everyone what fulfilling and successful careers look like, whether that’s continuing to develop in role, being promoted, adding new skills to their toolkit, or changing careers altogether.

Our Creative
We focused on the theme of nostalgia, using it as a motif to jumpstart the concept with polaroids and super 8 footage to create the concept of memories.

This build-up will drop once the over 50s worker is revealed. Once revealed, a snappier edit will begin, using a higher BPM track and quick cuts.

“Don’t presume we’re past it. Presume there’s more to come.” was launched to 14,000 colleagues in August 2024, alongside a series of tools and internal resources.
